Holiday Hours
The Science Center is open from noon to 5 p.m. on Memorial Day, noon to 6 p.m. on the Fourth of July, and noon to 5 p.m. on Labor Day and New Year's Day. The Science Center is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
KidZone, the IMAX Theatre and the Louisville Science Center Gift Shop are closed on Mondays when school is in session. All other exhibit areas are open. All Science Center offerings are open and fully operational on Monday holidays and during school breaks, Full Science Mondays in 2007-2008 are October 8, 2007; December 31, 2007; January 7, 2008; January 21, 2008; February 18, 2008; March 24, 2008; April 7, 2008; and all Mondays in May, June, July and August.
The last admission to the Science Center and IMAX Theatre is one hour before closing.
Due to circumstances beyond our control, the Louisville Science Center parking lot cannot accept any type of parking passes or reduced-fee coupons.

Military personnel: Buy one ticket (any type) and get one free, with a valid military ID.
For the safety of our young guests, the Louisville Science Center does not admit children ages 12 and under unless they are accompanied by a parent or guardian. Our exhibits are designed to encourage adult-child interaction.
